He says Al Gore will not debate any opposing ideas and media will not cover any material that is in opposition to the global warming theory. Promo for National Healthcare: This is NOT what I believe

I found this today and thought it was "very well made propaganda". Meaning if you are under-educated you might believe this to be true. It will give you a good idea of what liberal politicians believe.


A few notes about the video:
1. This was done by a liberal organization who believes in socialist healthcare.
2. "Quality of the American healthcare system is ranked 37th in the world": As per the World Health Organization year 2000 report. The WHO is a socialistic organization that believes in government healthcare. They stopped doing rankings in 2000 according to them because of the difficulty of all that was involved in doing such a ranking. So in other words, they realized they cannot deliver accurate rankings. If done fairly, the US would probably be ranked in the top five. The truth is countries that have government run healthcare send their citizens to the US to get quality, complex procedures. The rest of their people wait in long lines to get simpler procedures done.
3. “No out of pocket expenses, no co pays, no deductibles, no coinsurance”: Just higher taxes for everyone. The money has to come from somewhere, it doesn’t magically come form the “healthcare fairy” does it?
4. “People love choices, you can go to any doctor”: No you will go to the Dr. the government tells you to. Choices, that's one thing you definitely will NOT be getting from government healthcare. Choices come from a free market system. And by the way the government is the one keeping the health providers from moving across state boarders.
5. "A 10% tax, something millionaires will be able to cope with": (a) they are overestimating how many millionaires there are. This still would not pay for the system they are proposing. (b) isn't that stealing? Taking from the rich giving to the poor? I believe if we look at history we will find that charity works, stealing doesn't.
6. One thing no one is taking about. When a system is "paid for" and is "free" meaning there are no co-pays, no expenses, no out of pocket costs, aren't people going to over-use the system? If it's "free" aren't you going to go to the doctor no matter what the problem? On the other hand, if you have some financial responsibility in the matter and you decide its not really that necessary you may not go. Government healthcare only gives you the inconvenience of waiting in long lines as the deterrent to overusing their system.
7. And lastly without "incentive," like in a free market economy, what drives you to do your job goes down. This means, as seen in Canada and the UK, quality healthcare tends to go away. With government telling physicians how much they can charge, the very skilled ones will begin to look for work elsewhere and/or a more lucrative profession. Unfortunately even the most kind-hearted human being has the "whats in it for me" mentality. This is why socialism doesn't work people like to be rewarded for their hard work.

Don't Tread on Me

It's patriotic to tell your government when they are getting too big, too powerful and too socialistic. It is patriotic to throw a tea party and voice your opposition to taxation without representation, abuse of powers, infringement upon religious rights and many other issues that our own fore fathers took issue with over 200 years ago. We did not design our government to act as a king telling the people what to do. Government policy is to be by the people for the people. Meaning the goverment is to serve the people. Government officials are to have very limited powers and the president is to be just one of the members of our executive branch. So, stay educated, voice your opinion when things are not right and most importantly pray for our country.

Government Healthcare MUST Be Stopped!

The government takeover of healthcare would mean the single largest lifestyle change for the American people ever. Obama’s healthcare plan would mean that the United States would become a socialistic society. Socialism is a step away from Communism in which the government forces the people to do what the government wants them to do. You’ve seen it in Russia, China, Cuba and North Korea. The system doesn’t work because it destroys free market thinking, the thinking the US was built upon, and makes for no incentive to be productive. Ultimately prices go up and productivity goes down.

The system we have right now is overpriced because of the government regulations we already have. With the new plan the cost of healthcare is not going to go down, we are just going to be forced to have the system the government chooses. This instead of the private insurance, free market system, we currently have. Look at other countries with a National Healthcare System like the UK and Canada. The quality of healthcare goes down. You are put on a waiting list to see a doctor. It could take weeks, months even years. And in some cases if you are over age 70 you are told you cannot get the life saving procedure you need and instead may even be given counseling on how to commit suicide. Speaking of life saving procedures, if a citizen of these countries really needs an important procedure to save their life where do they go? The US. So now where are we going to go?

This government healthcare is a terrible, terrible idea. Right now, the United States leads the world in medical technology. This would all change with the Obamacare plan. There are ways to make healthcare more affordable without going to a socialistic system run by the government. Think about it. Anything run by the government, is it more efficient and more inexpensive to run? No it causes bureaucracy and is the most inefficient way to run a system. This is because incentive is taken away. Look at the mail service compared to UPS or Fed Ex. The free market method is the most efficient and effective way.

Obama is basically saying, I would like every American to be able to afford a $60K Mercedes Benz. Sounds nice right? So if we lower the price of a Mercedes down to $10K what’s going to happen? The first year everything might seem great. After that, Mercedes is either going to go out of business, or the once high quality car will become more like a $10K car. It will eventually look, feel and drive just like a $10K car. “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” Remember hearing that growing up? It has to come from somewhere. Money basically represents your hard work in tangible form. Government healthcare means taxes. Higher and higher each year. And remember you can’t opt out of taxes. You take the service the government gives you and you pay them what they say you will. No more free choice.

Lets STOP this disaster from happening to the American people. For our children and our childrens children!

Write your representatives, it only takes 2 minutes (see below). And participate in town meetings, tea parties and even protests if needed. Our leaders need to know this is wrong, we do not want free America to become a socialistic society!!! Most importantly, tell others (republicans and democrats alike) what is really going on!
