FCC Net Neutrality Vote This Thursday 10/22 - Call, write, fax, email your Rep.

The FCC is looking to finally get deeply involved in the internet. The internet has always been pretty much self regulated. This has lead to innovation and progress in technology. To my understanding the new regulation would keep cable and phone providers from being able to offer upgraded service to certain clients that want better technology. This is like telling Mercedes that they can only offer one car, the average car everyone can afford. There is also some talk about making it so that every person in the country has broadband service. This is would cost hundreds of billions of dollars and is called communism. Meaning we pay for everyone, even people who don’t need it to have broadband internet service.
